IT'S ALL ABOUT PRINTS
Each of our prints is meticulously designed in-house and hand-drawn by Juraj Straka, ensuring that every shirt is a true work of art. We embrace the subtle imperfections that only a human hand can create, giving each design its own unique soul. With only 40 pieces produced per print, you can be confident that your shirt is as exclusive as it is stylish. Our limited edition approach guarantees that you'll always have something truly unique in your wardrobe. We print our fabrics in collaboration with renowned Italian mills and produce our shirts in Slovakia.
JURAJ STRAKA - Our Story
Born and raised in Slovakia during the 1980s, Juraj Straka’s deep love for textiles was sparked by his mother, who always hand-crafted her clothes with vibrant colors and intricate prints. This early exposure ignited a lifelong fascination with textile design.
At 20, Juraj’s career took a pivotal turn when he moved to France to work for BUCOL – HOLDING TEXTILE HERMES in Lyon, one of the last surviving silk manufacturers. Starting as an intern, he advanced to become the head designer of printed fabrics, a role he held for seven years.
Juraj’s journey continued at the French haute couture house SCHIAPARELLI, where he served as head designer of embroideries and prints. In 2016, he realized a long-held dream by joining DRIES VAN NOTEN as the head print designer.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT MATERIALS ARE THE SHIRTS MADE OF?
The printed shirt is made from 100% matte viscose poplin, a highly breathable and absorbent material made in Italy. The fabric has a very soft natural stretch, thanks to the organic fiber and its woven texture. The garments are produced in Slovakia, and the buttons are made from mother-of-pearl.
HOW SHOULD THEY BE CARED FOR?
Wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry, and do not bleach. Iron on medium heat with steam.
TIP: If you’re traveling and don’t have access to an iron, hang the shirt on a hanger in the bathroom while taking a shower. The shirt will absorb enough moisture to relax the fibers, removing most wrinkles overnight.
HOW DOES YOUR SIZING WORK?
The shirt has a regular fit, with a very slight taper around the waist. This type of shirt is designed to float around the body, providing full freedom of movement. As a slow-fashion brand, we prioritize sustainability. To reduce our environmental impact,we kindly ask customers to consider the fit and style carefully before purchasing.
DO YOU HAVE A SIZE GUIDE?
Yes, you can find the size guide in the photo gallery of each product. We also indicate the size of the shirt that the models are wearing for easier comparison.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER?
As a small business, it may take up to 7 working days to process your order. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully prepare your shirt.
